Note: If the device is exposed to the maximum environmental temperature, allow the unit to warm up for 2 hours prior to use.

Contraindications:

Do NOT use the product if any of the following conditions apply:

1. Patients with Raynaud's disease.
2. An Acute, unstable (untreated) fracture.
3. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis to the limb or area where the wrap may be used.
4. Areas with open wounds or skin conditions.
5. Patients who have conditions that are intolerant to cold compresses or have cold hypersensitivity.
6. Pregnancy, patients with hypertension, extremely low blood pressure or circulation disorders.
7. Those who have vascular diseases such as diabetes, arteriosclerosis, or ischemia.
8. Those who have hematological dyscrasias which affect thrombosis such as paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, cryoglobulinemia, sickle-cell disease or serum cold agglutinins.
9. Patients with inflammatory phlebitis in the affected region.
10. Patients that have poor or absent sensation in the area of intended use.
