How To Make Wearing A Mask More Comfortable

February 23, 2021

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently came out with a new report highlighting the importance of mask fit, suggesting that a close-fitting mask or even doubling up on masks might offer more protection.

Mask only works if you wear it consistently and avoid taking it off.

Face masks are mandatory when you are in a public setting. Research shows that COVID-19 is spread by droplets transmitted through the air from talking, coughing, sneezing, loud talking, and even laughing and singing.

A face mask protects you from breathing in droplets from people who are infected with coronavirus (even if they have no visible symptoms). A face mask also reduces the amount of droplets you release into the air. Wearing a mask is important for the safety and protection of others and yourself.

Now that being said, masks are not that comfortable to wear.

Bonus Tip:

  • If wearing a mask is making glasses fog up make sure your mask fits well. A loose-fitting mask lets more of your warmed breath escape from the top of the mask. For a tighter fit try any of the above mentioned as well as bendable nose pieces or some Anti Fog Spray.
